What types of trademarks cannot be registered in Bahrain?

The following types of trademarks cannot be registered:

• Common or generic terms


• Marks lacking distinctiveness


• Marks containing the name, symbol, or flag of a country, state, region, or international organization


• Last names


• Names of places


• Marks similar to the Red Cross or Red Crescent


• Images, emblems, or symbols of others without their permission


• Honorary titles without legal proof


• Religious symbols or signs
