What types of trademarks cannot be registered in Algeria?

The following types of trademarks cannot be registered:

• Generic terms


• Marks that violate public morals or order


• Names, flags, or symbols of any country, region, or international organization


• Marks without distinctive characteristics


• Geographic location names
