What types of trademarks cannot be registered in the Czech Republic?

The following types of marks cannot be registered:

• Marks that conflict with moral standards or public order


• Common words or terms that are too general


• Marks that are primarily just a surname


• Marks that are mainly the name of a geographic area


• Marks that are not distinctive


• Flags, names, or symbols of countries, states, regions, or international organizations
