What types of trademarks cannot be registered in Estonia?

The following types of trademarks cannot be registered:

• Trademarks that conflict with moral standards or public order


• Common or generic terms


• Flags, symbols, and names of international organizations, countries, regions, and nations


• Trademarks that lack distinctiveness


• Names of geographic locations, except for appellations of origin


• Trademarks that mislead consumers about the product's quality, purpose, etc.
