Is it permissible to use my trademark in the Dominican Republic if it hasn't been registered yet?

Using an unregistered trademark is illegal for the following types of goods or services:

• Toiletries


• Pharmaceutical products


• Tobacco products


• Food and drink products


• Industrial chemical products


• Veterinary products

Additionally, a Sanitary Permit certificate must be accompanied by a registered trademark certificate.
