Marks that go against Iceland's moral standards or threaten public order cannot be registered. You also can't register terms with common or broad meanings. Names, symbols, or flags of countries, nations, or international organizations are not allowed for registration. Marks that lack distinctiveness or primarily represent a geographical location are also non-registrable.
