What types of trademarks cannot be registered in Malta?

The following types of trademarks cannot be registered:

• Common or generic terms


• Marks that go against moral standards or public order


• Marks containing names, flags, or symbols of countries, regions, nations, or international organizations


• Marks that are not distinctive


• Geographical names
