What types of trademarks cannot be registered in Greece?

Trademarks that fall into any of the following categories cannot be registered:

• Marks that go against public order or moral standards


• Common words or terms with a broad meaning


• Names, symbols, or emblems of a state, nation, or international organization


• Marks lacking acquired distinctiveness


• Marks that primarily represent geographical locations


• The shape of a product


• Marks that could potentially mislead consumers
