Can a registration be canceled in Indonesia?

Registration can be canceled for the following reasons:

• If the mark is descriptive


• If the mark is deceptive


• If the mark lacks distinctiveness


• If the mark is generic


• If the mark is mainly used as a geographical indication


• If the mark is prohibited in Indonesia


• If the mark goes against public policy or morality


• If the mark is used in a misleading way


• If the mark includes a badge or emblem of public interest


• If the mark was registered in bad faith
