Registration can be canceled for the following reasons:
- Violation of proprietary rights
- The mark is considered generic
- The mark lacks distinctiveness
- The mark serves a functional purpose
- The mark is misleading, deceptive, or disparaging
- Registration was done in bad faith
- The mark contradicts public policy or moral principles
- The mark has been abandoned
- The mark is prohibited in this jurisdiction
- Other reasons based on specific case circumstances
- Refer to Section VII.A. for Use Requirements.
