The following individuals or entities can challenge a trademark registration:
- Those who own an earlier conflicting right
- Those who own a conflicting trademark that was registered before yours
- Those who have earlier rights to a personal name, industrial property, plant variety, geographical indication, or copyright
- Those who own a trademark registered in the WTO or Paris Union that was applied for by an agent or representative without the owner's consent
