Can a registration in Thailand be canceled?

Here are reasons why a registration might be canceled:

• The mark is generic.


• The mark is descriptive.


• The mark is misleading, deceptive, or disparaging.


• The mark is used in a misleading way.


• The mark lacks distinctiveness.


• The mark is functional.


• There is a breach of copyright.


• Rights under Article 6bis of the Paris Convention.


• Rights under Article 8 of the Paris Convention.


• Rights under Article 6ter of the Paris Convention.


• The mark includes a badge or emblem of significant public interest.


• There are rights in a personal name.


• The mark goes against public policy or morality principles.


• The application or registration was made in bad faith.


• There are superior rights to the mark.


• The mark consists of a geographical indication.
