Do Middle Eastern countries follow the Madrid System for international trademark registration?

Several countries in the region, like the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Egypt, are members of the Madrid System, allowing international trademark registration. Saudi Arabia joins on 8 October 2026: from that date it can be designated through Madrid. Others, like Kuwait, require national filings.
