Yes, you need to specify them. Trademarks that are too descriptive or generic cannot be registered. For instance, you can't register 'CAR' for vehicles. Additionally, trademarks that are similar to existing ones are not allowed. For example, you can't register HAMASON as an online bookstore because it is too similar to Amazon.
