When you file a Trademark Registration Request in multiple countries, you submit separate applications in each country you want to cover. On the other hand, using the Madrid System allows you to start with one application or registration in your home country and then expand it to other countries of your choice, known as "designated countries," through WIPO.
Additionally, using the Madrid System can be more cost-effective if you are considering registering in several countries, typically five or more.
